Yeah they produce bass,but not accurate and full like an active would. I see what the LSi's are all about with the separate subwoofers now.

wow I cant believe polk charged so much for these,with passive subs. Why not put an active sub and run the crossovers more efficiently? FOR SALE!!!

amp is 125 x 2 @ 8ohms.

on the kickdrum they look like there are moving inward. This seems incorrect to me. and the tweeters keep shutting off.

I have notice my subwoofer seems to be firring inward and mids look like they are firring out.

Are the subs supposed to be firing inward?

Just being nice... but they are GREAT sounding.

I'm sure that "Blue book" was also used for the sound booth. But ya got to admit 134.9db from 2 $90 12w1's and a 2x50 pioneer is almost legendary. My dealer was impressed.

well,you are right about me not knowing about Polk, but your wrong again if you think that isn't proof.

If a single,I'd get a 15'' sub and port it,and you'll have TONS of bass (at least for the money:bass ratio) Find a Sub where you can look up on their website or call them and find out what size/specs...

The only thing I think Jstas was right about was Eclipse and Orion. Orion had a nice 1/2 ohm stable amp back in the day. Remember Zapco,that 50w amp was probably the best amp I heard on my subs.

if the spike is at 13khz then all would need to be replaced since the drivers produce 2.5khz and up,correct?I thought the spike was at lower khz.
