The music and HT system I put together was supposed to be a 50/50 use rig. The LSI speakers with a proper receiver/amp does the job beautifully.
I may be interested in one. I was looking for something to connect my iphone 5s to a receiver.
I don't mean to jack this thread BUT do they make this for the iPhone 5s?
I use my 5802 for HT and 2Ch music. As of recently, after it warms up I hear a "humming" coming from the amp but its not audible through the speakers. I suspect something may be going...
I really enjoy mine after the tube and PC upgrade.
Look at Signal Cable and Blue Jeans.
I heard a full Coincident system and was blown away by the sound. What is your opinion?
(I know this is an old post but this what came up in a search for Coincident)

I had that player for a bit and it was OK. I'm sure there are newer/better players out there for the same money.
Plus the upgraded PC made a positive improvement.
I have tried both native and up-sampling.
yes.. the same IC's MIT CVT-2s
I did some careful listening to the DAC vs the Jolida. So far Jolida is in the lead by far for sound quality.
I will let the DAC burn in a little more to see how it stacks up.
PS the the DAC...
I upgraded the tubes to Psvanes and PC to a Pangea. Both upgrades significantly increased the sound quality over stock.
Like always I like to try out new products to see if I can improve on...
I need to listen to it more to decide.
The reason for the DAC is I want to hook my PC up to it.
Also is there a benefit to having a dedicated transport over a CDP?
I recently just bought the DAC and the Jolida is my only source.
Currently I'm running a Jolida JD100 CDP into a DAC. Would there be any benefits to going to a stand alone transport?
I have a MBL DAC that needs repair. Anyone can recommend a repair shop in the NY Tri-state area?
