The R30s are very cheap at Fry's and make great rear surrounds, no stands needed.

I picked it up from Fry's this weekend. It is one of my favorate recordings and the DVD-A really has an openess and warmth to it.

I replaced a pair of r30 with the r50s. The R50 are definitely more efficient and have a more pronounced midrange thatn the r 30. I use the r30 in my bedroom now, i still love them for the price.
