Polk upgrade the entire sub line a few years ago with extremely good results. My DSW 400 goes deep and is terrific with music and movies.

Yes the Emotiva will be just fine to power just about any speakers that you have now and in the future. What does your system consist of?

You also need to start thinking about getting an amp if you are going to be playing it so loud. Your receiver doesn't have what it takes to power them properly
