100% sure you were referring to 200WPC Class AB SS in your thread title, so didn't figure it needed...

Your thread should read you don't need close to 200WPC class AB to have the sound of a low powered Class A or low powered tube amp.

If you had titled your thread correctly, it would not have...

So I left out Class A.

So again I tell you, a 200WPC Class A amp would make someone forget about that unit. Probably make someone forget about owning their house too.

As mentioned, the Krell specs were just an example of my point.

The specs give the clear information I need to decide if the amp is of poor design. It's as simple as that.

I said nothing about sound.

Meaningless to human perception, or hearing ability. Absolutely.
