I have decided to leave CP, but I feel you deserve a reply. Sorry the others gave me a bad taste for this place. If I had received rational replies such as yours, I would stay around.
I dig those...
Good enough.
Yet another reply without any reference to the point of the thread, or any evidence of thread worthiness.
And then, run.
Is there any point in me staying around, or is this the general childish...
Now I am ROTFLMAO.
ID please.
Look, I am glad you guys found little amps you could afford to give you audio bliss.
I enjoy the stuff myself.
But, I have made my point...
Clear enough would be the correct response.
Good lord man, are y'all 12 years old?
WOW!
I will add that while I stated SS, I too should have been more specific and stated Class AB SS.
100% sure you were referring to 200WPC Class AB SS in your thread title, so didn't figure it needed...
Your thread should read you don't need close to 200WPC class AB to have the sound of a low powered Class A or low powered tube amp.
If you had titled your thread correctly, it would not have...
Class A.
So I left out Class A.
So again I tell you, a 200WPC Class A amp would make someone forget about that unit. Probably make someone forget about owning their house too.
Trying to...
I am having a sig problem, which I mentioned in the thread. I don't see mine or yours.
Yep, and I am telling you I experience much better performance from my 200WPC amp than my 125WPC amp.
And I am also telling you that a 200WPC tube amp would make you forget all about your little...
Hey, you brought-up the sound of my amp, not me.
If it were, you would've posted what it was.
But looking at the specs, I can tell you it's a tube amp.
So, I did get a pretty good bit of information from the specs.
I didn't just fall off the turnip truck.
SS stands for solid state, or are you not aware of that?
Well, I can only judge the sound of this particular amp with my speakers compared to the Adcom I own with my speakers.
And in that sense, there is no comparison.
Which supports my claim of SS...
That's a mighty fine SS amp you have there. Are you even reading my post?
And just to be clear, I am not one of those guys who thinks I own the best stuff.
I am not impressed by my Adcom amp.
I am not impressed by my over-reviewed, over-priced Marantz BD-8200.
I...
If the point of the thread was just to get one closed-minded POV, I see no point in the thread.
The fact is, you guys show me a highly regarded SS amp with high THD, and poor 4ohm performance....
If you are going to quote me, please have the decency to keep the quote original.
Not very cool.
And I don't know what is up with my sig.
As mentioned, the Krell specs were just an example of my point.
The specs give the clear information I need to decide if the amp is of poor design. It's as simple as that.
I said nothing about sound.
Meaningless to human perception, or hearing ability. Absolutely.
But, my tweeter goes to 32k.
Now, also take into consideration I am stating the amps ability to handle a less resistive...
K:wink:
