I'm selling all my Audience powerChords together as a set. These are the standard version not "e" version. All three are in good condition without any tears or kinks. I'm rating them 8/10 because...
Smooth Jazz Ain't Bad
This 3 year old thread brought up good memories. Turned out that the Sophia's were awesome and never left their spot in the Modwright/Oppo.
Since then, I went into a totally different direction. ...
Yep, another vote for the NAD.
I use these Vibrapods and the cones underneath my dac and music server and they make a nice improvement. For the price, you can't go wrong with having a couple sets of these to try out.
True that! I have some Senn HD-600's that I use with this amp. It sounds best using the mini-usb output.
Price drop $200 + shipping.
I'll have to try that. Thanks
Nice gear! Would love to hear what your rig sounds like. I used to have a Rogue Stereo 99 amp and really liked it.
I've read a lot of great reviews about this one. How would you say it compares to the Audioquest USB cable?
Tube components all around huh, that's cool. What tube pre and amp are you running?
I'm the second owner and bought this 2 years ago from Head-Fi forum. I use it to power my Sennheiser HD-600 headphones when I need something portable. I'm selling it because I rarely use my...
When I first heard my dac, it sounded too "wooly," but after using some inexpensive vibrapod points, it sounded so much better. My friend has some nice aurios on his and that sounds even better. ...
I did a couple things to take my Stockholm dac to the next level. I switched to the k chip and rolled some different tubes. Also it's very responsive to footers. These kinda of tweaks brought out...
I started out with a $15 Belkin gold and recently got the Audioquest Carbon - Huge upgrade in all areas. I'm using an MHDT Stockholm dac.
My vote would be to get USB converter and switch to Wav instead of flac.
Killer preamp! I've have the Placette active preamp for a couple years now in my system. What I like about Placete is that it doesn't add it's own colorations into the mix. It's transparent.
Looks Awesome! Congrats. Now you gotta give us a review.
After using for a week, it is clear that the AudioQuest Forest has improved every part of the music compared to a stock cable. No surprise really. I would say its a significant improvement.
Sweet set up. Jasper is Awesome
