After all of the questions and everything, I regret to say I did not buy polk audio speakers ( ) . HOWEVER, I would still like to post on the polk boards, they seem to be the most fun audio...
Is www.brandnamez.com a trusted site? I want to know before I give them a grand for Klipsch RF-5 towers.
I dont need any larger. LOL. Ok ill try to make that triangle as best I can. I think im going to get the RF-5's. They are having a closeout and I can get them at an insane price.
Nevermind. Im gonna go with the RF-35 (cant afford the RF-5)
Forgot...Klipsch subs suck :(
Whats an RP5???????? It looks perfect! It has a side firing woofer so I could control the bass, and only one woofer on the front so not so much air is coming out the rear port! Whats this model based...
Theres a thing called a volume control. Sean told me to get the towers and be done with it, so I am.
LOL. People say 1ft from the wall and 5ft from me should be enough to sound decent.
I will either get the RF-35's or the RF-5's. I can put them 1 foot from the wall and 5 foot from me.
Man so. Will the totems still rock?.....Will the klipsch sound ballanced AT ALL? Will the totems sound dynamic?
I gotta decide.
Jolida + Totem?
go for what.....lol....totems?
I would be using a Jolida 202A with 40 WPC. Hurry before the auction goes off.
The RB-35 has a bigger horn than the RF-15, which should provide for better highs. Lots of people say that any of Klipsch's bookshelves coupled with a sub come extremely close to being theyre...
I just read this on a website:
The difference between the 6L6 tube and the EL34 tube for the most part are as follows: The EL34 produces a more low and mid frequency sound that is tighter sounding....
I dont have a klipsch dealer near by. I decided to get 2 RB-35's and an STF-3 to make up for 1 less woofer. Trust me, if I dont need the subwoofer, ill turn it down low just to fill in the very low...
Organ, but the RF-15 wouldent sound as good as a RB-35 with a sub.....Would it?
Yeah the small klipsch is essentially the same thing -1 woofer, which can be made up for with a sub. The towers have to be at least 2 ft from a wall right? That would mean they would have to be 2 ft...
Totem rainmaker or Klipsch RB-35? :D
I have a pair of Shure E5's. Theyre a bit expensive ($400) but if you can afford them you will LOVE them. The sound is so full, they are very musical. The bass makes your head rumble. Do not get...
If your using it for Home Theatre I would suggest you get a surround receiver. A nice one though, 200W is a lot of power, your looking at spending at least $700.
(My first suggestion :D )
LOL I want it to tear my room apart. I want sound that everytime I turn it on, I jump. hehe.
I would be listening at medium volume. I listen to a bit of everything but mostly alternative rock. Weezer like stuff. Sometimes oldies, classic rock. Led Zepplin, The Kinks. Yeah thanks for the amp...
Sensitivity (Anechoic) 91dB @ 1 watt/ 1 meter
Hows that?

Tube or Hybrid?
Can you describe the sound of a tube amp in comparison to a solid state amp?
