I am not cheap, just not buying the machined and polished brass is superior nonsense. They are buried in the carpet, so what does looks have to do with how they funtion? Four bolts, protruding only...

I made mine from 1/4 x 20 bolts. I cut off the heads and ground them to a point. I am guessing they do the job just as good as the insanely priced "audiophile" grade spikes. :) .
