Nope, no dinks here... I think the Belkin outlet the receiver is plugged into needs to be un-swithched. When you turn the receiver on w/the remote, the receiver would trigger the Belkin to turn on...

Are you saying this can be done through the pre-outs? That is the only connection from the amp (Carver TFM-45) to the receiver.
