Is there any advantage or bass improvement in using some kind of isolation pad to isolate the subwoofer away from the floor

I changed the Low Pass to 80 and I do think I like that better than the 120 I had it set at before. Thanks for the suggestion.

I have dual 505 Subwoofers, and have the following settings:

Power: Auto
Phase: 0
Volume: 50%
Low Pass: 120

On the AVR (Yamaha RX-V863):

Left, Center, Right Speakers (VM20): Large
