I own the RTi12's. As far as 2 channel listening or just to music, the RTi12's with plenty of amplification have very nice bass. You will not need a sub for those type of listening scenarios. ...

For movies, I like my sides on dipole (disperses the sound thus preventing localization) and the rears on bipole. If I was doing primarily music, I would probably use bipole for all speakers.
