sorry, that's *any* car with a tray.
haha, ummm, a ute here is basically and car with a tray. Never had any idea that people had ideas otherwise.
there's a pic here.
He'll be doing some work to get it away from looking so stock but...
Hey all, i'm thinking about doing a custom install in a friends ford ranger. Just wondering if anyone else has had a go at this ute(or a similar one) and if you've you've got any good...
hey all.. i've got a pair of MM2124s at the moment, and i've just bought a pair of Schneider PRO12DVs. I was planning on having one pair cover my really low frequencies(thinking from 20-50hz...
woooh, that's some good melting.. When my kickers packed it in i was getting a reading of around 15v off my headunit, and it could well have been higher, that's its top reading. haven't tried to use...

Lol. :p
wow this post went downhill. :P
btw cody, what would you consider a large enough voltage to cause the amp to produce much more power?
just wondering if you guys could throw me a couple of suggestions for an amp to run a pair of polk mm2124 subs in parallel?
I've got an a800t audiobahn amp sitting around but it may have some water...
when you say $215 shipped, do you mean shipped anywhere?
i'm in melbourne australia..
as far as i know you can get some prefab ones from lots of auto trimmers.. i don't know about where you are but out here in oz there's a place called blackmans that i used to deal with for work. All...
second that, where they at?:)
okay, thanks heaps for all the response.. i'll blame you if my amp packs in my new speakers. :P
But seriously, appreciated the input..
so you think i'll be right if i do my gains and crossovers properly?? I had been running them without an issue for a couple of weeks. seems strange that they'd wait that long to pack it in. i know my...
well my gains weren't properly set, had been a bit lazy there. but i wasn't actually running them hard at the time, which is half the reason why i think it might be an issue with the amp.. I'll be...
hey all, i've just somehow managed to burn out my voice coil in at least one(of two) of my cvr 12" kickers. I'm thinking it's because of my alternator which isn't too nice atm(giving readings of up...
really? i would've thought that would've definitely meant signal loss.. or am i being naive
i forgot to mention. i'm from australia. :P
probably a bit too much to ask but does anyone know anywhere local?
matter of fact, forget i asked, i'll just get it shipped..
just the site, at first glance it looks pretty useless.. but after looking for a bit longer it might actually have some useful stuff.
Is it okay if i retract that last question? :o
Go easy, i'm...

is that a joke?
that would've been my first instinct, but i've got myself some good quality 12 gauge wire and there's no way the terminals on the subs are gonna fit two lots of them..:(
this is probably a stupid question, but would you be able to recommend a type and brand of binding post? I've got 14mm MDF to sink them in to.
I'm right to solder the wires, but i'd need a signal filter or something afterwards wouldn't I?
