I did see the change at the crossover to the socket. I wasn't sure if the IC cable had something going on and wanted to be sure before I start this project. I wanted to avoid cutting open the IC...
I did check the continuity and the results are large blade to large blade small blade to small blade. Info for those who want to build new IC cables with the blade/blade configuration.
It seems the polarity reverses at the speakers IC socket not in the IC wire. Would you agree? This would be for the first generation SDA SRS
Does anyone know if the polarity is the same from one end of the blade blade IC cable to the other end?
It looks like the polarity is reversed to the SDA blade blade socket from the right SDA SRS...
Hi Scott,
I'm in the process of replacing the end caps on my SRS. My oak caps are in good shape no splitting and you could refinish them to make em shine. I'm changing the overall appearance of...
The tweeter wire from the crossover to the drivers was that zip cord crap that I also replaced. Not really sure if this made any difference since it was done the same time as the caps and resistors....

Try Bugle boy late 50's "D" getter. They dont get any better than these.
Does Polk have any recommendations for someone experienced enough to terminate the Polk cobra flat cable. I have 1-14' pair I would like to make into 2-7' pairs. Any suggestions?
