Can the 3910 be used for SACD or DVD-A without being hooked up to a tv or monitor? Some players have onscreen menus that make them difficult to use without a tv.

I'd look for a Csi5 to match your fronts. I'm using one with my rti10s. It's a beast...if space is an issue you'd be alright using a csi3.

I'd recommend listening to them as they are for a little bit before jumping into upgrades. I think you'll appreciate them more.

Personally, I'd skip those 5s and zero in on something with Peerless tweeters...unless you've got RDO194's laying around. You'll be happier in the long run.

Peerless aren't a drop-in replacement for the sl2000. The tweeter cut out is a different size, and the crossover values aren't the same.

The drop-in replacement for the sl2000 is the rdo194.
