Yep. These are fantastic speakers. Just the thought of getting rid of them makes me :(. But hey - that's life. And yeah CCNJ, that's how I've been using my P3ESR's as well.

Hey folks,
Life has been absolutely crazy for me over the past 6 or so months. And now I've arrived to a point to where I am considering parting ways with my beloved Harbeth P3ESR's. Having said...
Good thing you parted with that Halcro. Getting it serviced would be a b!$ch...
Chris - Awesome. I used to run a set of Hawk's years ago. To be honest, I miss the lil' speakers. Treat the Hawk's right, and they will reward you with the kind of aural awesomeness that can...
CCNJ - You still rockin' the Totem's and the Harbeth's?
Diggin the first macro shot. Nice detail. Sooo fuzzeh. :D
*BUMP* !!! Puppy face and all... !
Kex,
Good research! Yep, that figure is widely available on the bay. The only problem iz that I can't justify shelling out $30 to $50 dollars on a figure that sells for $10 or less in most...
hehe Surprisingly enough, those 12" styled figures can still be found on shelves in most big box stores.
OH, I also forgot to mention that Wal Mart carries this stuff as well.
Even though I know I'm going to receive a (well deserved) amount of sh!t for this post, I'm gunna post it up anyway. In short; I need assistance from my fellow U.S polkies in locating the following...
I fondly recall the time that I spent with a set of XQ 1's and Reference 203's. Good stuff. Who knows, maybe if it rains cash over here, I'll bring in the latest generation of goods to see/hear...
Gotta say man, this is an interesting move... Hope it works out for you.
Had some 2CE Sigs and 3A's a number of years ago. Pretty much agree with Troys assessment.
Love the looks of the place.
Solid - My parents also had a Lifestyle system. I loved it as a kid.
I'll also come clean and admit that when I walk into stores (say, at the mall), I usually prefer the sound of the paper...
Heh. I had a feeling that Jeff would soon cover some Bose gear... And good on him... I don't give a crap about what any hi-fi nerd thinks - when set up right, the 901's can groove. Big time. ...
Psh, there's no way this can sound good in person - not with that big a$$ plastic and glass baffle.... ;) Just kidding. Sounds good. Enjoy the tunes bro.
nhhiep - I brought in my set as part of a trade. That said, I found a pair on Audiogon: http://app.audiogon.com/listings/sonus-faber-toy-classic-black--2 If you can convince this dude to throw...
nhhiep - To answer your questions:
- The Sonus Faber Toy's employ a better version of the Ring Radiator. It's more detailed and quite a bit smoother. Since you already have 'warm' sounding...
Been here, done this many times. Short list the following: Sonus Faber Toy's or the Dali Mentor Menuet's. Add to that the Nola Boxer's if you have a decent amount of space to work with. If...
Incredibly unfortunate.. Here's to hoping the best for the survivors...
Twas great meeting you Ben. I look forward to reading your impressions of the speakers once you have a chance to get settled/familiar with them!
Update: Deal pending to Falconcry72.
Inspector - It's neither. Rotel makes a fine Class A/B amp. And the Class D circuit CAN sound pretty damned good. It's just that Rotel's Class D gear isn't all too great - in my opinion.
Class D will work fine with the LSi's. But Rotel's class D amps may be the worst in the business (imho). Grainy. Harsh. Thin. Almost the very antithesis of 'musical'.
VR3 - Thanks for offering up your services to help both myself and your fellow Polkies. Much appreciated!
EnderShadow - It's no worries. I understand. You were looking at one hell of a road...
