I have had both as well(rti12's) not 9's
But I've sold my 707's and just was wondering if my 703's( bookshelf) would preform better than the RtiA 9 floorstanders in home theater.

I have a XPA-5 and a UPA-5. First amps I have ever bought and for the time being I'm happy with them. Not saying that I will never trade them off on something different, but for now I'm smiling.

Well I hate to say it but we have a SVS dealer here in Canada. So I've decided to purchase a PC 12-plus instead. Only $60 shipping compared to $290 for the HSU. Think the SVS would be a better bang...

Well I've come to grips that using my Lsim703's for surrounds just will not work. Walkway/headroom issues.
Does anyone have any recent reviews with using the RC85i's for surrounds or is there better...
