I'm set to try out the Q900's sometime this week. Looking forward to giving them a listen as they seemed to have good reviews all around.

The CM8's look cool but think they maybe lacking in the bottom end with only 5" drivers
Living in Canada my speaker selections are limited. I've owned Polk Rti and LsiM speakers, Klipsch Rf 82's, and just sold my Def Tech Mythos ST's. I'm looking for some speaker recommendations in the...
That would be 45 day in home "trial" not trail.. Lol
Yes I have contacted the Canadian distributer and they have the 45 in home trail but you have to pay shipping costs so.....
Hello All
I know this probably isn't the best place to ask, but are there any SVS Ultra tower speaker owners on here. If so I would like to hear your review/thoughts on them.Specs on them look...
My wife listened! She got me a Samsung BD-E 6500 blu-ray player. Can't wait to try it out.
Just a shout out to fellow polkies.
Merry Christmas and happy new year to all.
I have had both as well(rti12's) not 9's
But I've sold my 707's and just was wondering if my 703's( bookshelf) would preform better than the RtiA 9 floorstanders in home theater.
Thanks. Confirmed my thoughts on the subject.
I am tossing some ideas around. Was wondering which would the better sounding.
13' x 25' dedicated theater room. All walls insulated as well as ceiling. Going to be running one SVS plus subwoofer....
Polk LsiM 707
LsiM 703
RtiA 6 --not using
Fx4's
Klipsch RF7ii
Klipsch RC 52--- not using
Velodyne max 12 subs x 2
Polk monitor 45's
...
If I could knock the shipping out or down in cost I would would go with the 15H as well, but only $60 for shipping the SVS is just more worth it for me. Am also intrigued about the cylinder design on...
I have a XPA-5 and a UPA-5. First amps I have ever bought and for the time being I'm happy with them. Not saying that I will never trade them off on something different, but for now I'm smiling.
Well I hate to say it but we have a SVS dealer here in Canada. So I've decided to purchase a PC 12-plus instead. Only $60 shipping compared to $290 for the HSU. Think the SVS would be a better bang...
How you liking that HSU sub?
Well I've come to grips that using my Lsim703's for surrounds just will not work. Walkway/headroom issues.
Does anyone have any recent reviews with using the RC85i's for surrounds or is there better...
Got any measurements?
Well it's nice to hear that I'm not alone in this endless battle of should I or should I not! Unfortunately the should I part usually wins most of the time.
I'm still working on getting a HSU 15H sub. She was cool with it, but wait till the 70lbs box shows up at my door for the amp. I better order the sub before the amp comes and deal with the sh*T later.
That's justs GREAT! Another piece of audio equipment I need to buy.
Why! Why! Why!.........grrrrrrr. I think I have a problem! Just when I think , ok I have enough audio stuff. Boom I go buy something else. This is like a gambling addiction. I have speakers sitting...
I have been considering doing that with my LsiM 703's. Minus laying them on there sides. Off a separate dedicated amp, how do you wire things up?
I have a pair of RF7's and for 2 ch they rock. They can be a little bright but if you get them dialed in properly it is minimized. They are very efficient so you don't need a lot of power to make...
My bad. Miss read what you were saying.
