I hear you on the plastic...but, everything we already have is wood and it's so much cheaper(at least initially). Some good info given for me to make a choice from. Always amazes me how little I know.
I know there are some more expereienced wood finishers here than I so....
I'm in the process of making some cedar furniture for the deck. Never worked with cedar before but I know it will grey...
If you decide to get them I hope you post a review.
Yep, the Sansa Clip+ is what I decided on. My wife will be happy when it arrives so I can stop swiping her player.
To me, the U.S. needed that win....we only managed a draw against a team that was apparently not firing on all cylinders. Germany looks too good for us, but you never know.
Would one that plays more than just mp3 formats be the way to go? I doubt I would hear any difference cutting the grass but what if I plugged it into my car or a speaker dock? I'm guessing at my...
My old Sansa mp3 player operated by a single AAA battery has bit the dust. Looking for a replacement that has decent sound but not looking to spend more than $50 or so. I mainly use the thing when...
21 years is still a long time so congrats anyhow.
Do something fun together today...and wish her a happy 25th for the heck of it :)
Ours is coming up on the 24th and it'll be 36 for us unless she...
USA got away with one yesterday. They better show better ball control if they expect to go far. Defense won yesterday's game for us and perhaps a few lucky misses.
OK, you guys have talked me into buying all 3 deluxe versions. A good use of my birthday $$.
These will be the 1st music played on my new to me 2 channel rig in the game room. Looking forward to a...
Rick, those are some nice vibration dampers there!
We watch all the shows mentioned above. They all tend to repeat their messages though but it's still worth the time to watch them. The views are part of the reason we watch but of course, TV is...
A good dose of excessive punishment is what today's society needs in general.
About the only way I would say this was inappropriate is if the kid had to walk along a busy road.
I feel for ya man...hope it's a minor fix.
Is it true that the older you get the less time in a day there is? I still have not had time to play with my recently aqcuired pre and power cord upgrade!
in with #11. I was(and am) BIG into YES....years ago spotted him at a racetrack in England driving what I think was a convertable Rolls Royce....not sure if that's what the car was but I am sure it...
I'm a day late(or 2) and a dollar short as usual, but congrats anyhow! Plan to raise a glass or 2 tonight.
ken, I'll take it...pm me with particulars please.
Can't measure anything until tonight. I do have an offer from a fellow Polkie on a DIY cord pending but that Power Punch looks nice. I can make a decision by the morning if that works?
Finally picking up a pre to get my Parasound amp into use. Problem is the amp has been sitting for so long I have misplaced the power cable. What's the best bang for the buck considering it's a...
Tru Dat!! Like the time I came home from work to find our van stuck sideways in our 1 car garage...it was of course somehow my fault!
A couple more pics of the mystery cart. Sending an email to Shure customer service for help. Just want to be positive I'm ordering the right stylus for it.
Thanks everybody, I have certainly learned a lot in the last few days. I've aleady had the cart off the headshell looking for any markings to help ID it and I doubt that it was ever mounted properly...
