My 809 has two fans in it already, i'm not sure what a third placed in the mix would really do ?
Congrats on the addition to your family.
You can use that receiver. It wont be optimal and I wouldnt expect those speakers to sound their best, but it will work in the interem.
You can still find new/used CS2 series II speakers on Ebay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/CS2-CHERRY-Series-II-Center-Channel-Speaker-Polk-Audio-NEW-/230941360974?pt=Speakers_Subwoofers&hash=item35c52d834e

I was under the impression that this was his own personal forum and he could say and do whatever he wanted. Isn't that why so many newcomers always pretext their questions by saying they are...
Agree, you have to make sure you have the correct receptacle.
I wish I had something with a 12v trigger to test this but..........I went into the menu and set my zone2 as a fixed mode. If I push zone2 on the remote(green light) and hit the receiver power button...
Why can't you just use the zone 3 trigger and use it for your amp to turn it on and off ?
