I would reccomend staying with the RTi line. Either the series you have with the 8s or the RTiA series would be a very good choice, as the line is timbre matched and will blend the best with your 8s....

Some amps are Marine Certified and will take the moisture.

Try to stay away from equal dimesions for your enclosure

Try connecting a new set of RCA cables from your HU to amp. Just hang them over the seats for troubleshooting. Or try swapping F/R RCA's see if the problem moves to the front.
