Sorry Russ I did not mean to offend anyone or imply anything about Polk. I was just curious since I did not see pictures showing Polk products.

Did Polk have anything official at LSAF this year?
Have a couple for me too and post some pictures please. Not sure what it is but everytime I plan on going to LSAF someone in my family has issues. This time my mother is in the hospital. So sad I...
I had a similar issue that turned out to be my cables. This was after I had Pioneer check my AVR and Panasonic replaced my BDP, all under warranty thankfully. I run all Audioquest now and never an...
I am looking forward to this as well after missing last year. The 2013 LSAF site list Polk Audio as an exhibitor if that means anything. I don't really think I have any equipment worth bringing,...
Not sure this helps as I only had the demo LSiM703 running off my B&K for all of two hours but I loved them while I had them.
@dkg999 thank you for that information! I will see if I can find a local dealer as helpful as yours.
@Syndil the biggest reason I favor the URC is I think you can upload HEX signal codes to the...
Not sure about the general public but I program PBX phone systems for a living and would have zero problems setting up a URC remote. If only URC would let me have the software when I purchse the...
Gald to hear you finally got it and note the screen does break in over time and the picture gets even better.
I have had a Harmony One for many years and it has not given me a lick of trouble. However if I were to do it again and could get the software for it I would get a URC MX-900. The Harmony is good...
Here's a bump for ya. Polk does not lie and it looks like that center is about 12/16 too wide to fit my stand.
Well I am late to this party but Panasonic Plasma all the way. I have no issues with mine in a room with five windows facing east.
Any chance you could measure the width of that center for me? I have a CSi5 now and want the LSiM series but according to Polk, whom I am sure does know, the 706c is about .5" too wide for my...
I'm in, very cool signage since I hope to own LSiM speakers someday.
The Best Buy in Grapevine (DFW) has one of these. They are actually their own store even more separate than Magnolia from Best Buy. They guy I talked to there was glad to demo any thing for me and...
Glad to hear you are home and doing great. By the way I was in hospital for a few days and had been on a liquid diet for two weeks. The first meal they gave me was the best food I ever tasted! 8-)
Thievery Corporation
Agree with everything said here. If this is good shape, and hopefully has the original box, get it now!
Those dual Epik legends would be, well, epic! I am a fan of the SVS cylinder subs too but a sealed sub interests me. Whichever way you go I humbly recommend you get something to control them such...
This is a 2+ year old thread guys....
They are right you do need a preamp and as far as I know that Klipsch should work as it looks to have inputs and pre-outs.
I suggest one more test before writing off the amp. Take the sub out of the loop and go from CD Player -> Amp -> Speakers. And it's not a bad idea to check the speaker cables as well.
If this upgrade is for music I would stay with a warm/laid back receiver for the RTi-10. I use a Pioneer Elite and B&K amp with mine and they are too bright for me with music, for movies they are...
No problem cusco69, if it is going into protection mode something else is going on. Maybe you mean it is going into standby because it does not see a signal?
The RCA and Subwoofer cables are...
To answer your first question in our last house the couch was against the back wall and the speakers were basically above it. There was no other place to put the couch in that house. I would guess...
