Great! Thanks for sharing!
Used Dynaudio c1. Not sure if it would work with your current amp though.
Or you can just get an Oppo 105D player which can play your cd/sacd as well as your high resolution music files. Its built in DAC is also a good one.
80 watts triode class A for 2 channel
90 watts push pull class AB for home theater
I used to have the Polk lsi 9 powered by the Denon avr 4800 and it sounds fine, not great. The 4800 is probably a beefier receiver though.
Is there a flac version for sale for all of these? :)
Wish I live in London :))
I sold my CD player 10 years ago and never looked back :))
Congrats! Those monos look impressive
Eastern Electric Minimax Plus DAC. Offers both tube and solid state mode. You can further tailor the sound to your liking by rolling op-amps.
I was always able to get back my money with Paypal, especially when the seller didn't respond to the dispute
My mini review not enough? :)
Whatever you do, don't let it pass 14 days in case you want to claim your money back from Paypal
lol ... I have 2 extra pairs ... 1 Sound Anchor 3 post pair and 1 B&W pair :)
No problem, Ron. I agree that the C1 need proper amp to make it sing. I've tried the following:
Musical Fidelity A308: a little to polite for the C1. The bass is there but not enough sparkles...
Thanks! I drove 240 miles today to pick it up! :)
I got mine for 500 :)
The beast is here ...
A used Eastern Electric Minimax pre .... nevermind ... no remote
Just heard my friend's setup c4 + pass x250 + ee minimax preamp and I was very impressed. Maybe I should consider the Pass X250 or X250.5 too ...
I think I now have 2nd thought about Ayon
The Triton is auto bias
