Polk became too mass market. Years ago, you would only find them in high end audio stores. Now some audio snobs lost respect for the brand. You find them in the big chain stores.

Check out KnuKoncepts. They have some nice quality cable there that is affordable.

I find the Power amp makes the bigger difference.

May I recommend the Boston Acoustics A26 monitors. Normally sell for $400, but you can sometimes find them on special, or refurbished for $200. These are very impressive.

Outlaw make some good gear. I would check them out. Never had a problem with any Outlaw equipment.

The LSi's tweeter is very refined, and so it can use some treble enhancement for listeners who miss that sizzle in their speakers.

Those Rotels are incredible. I owned the 980BX and the 990BX, and I still believe the 980BX was better then the RB1070 I have now.
