Hey, I have a JL 12w6v2 in a 60L closed box. But I can get a SR124DVC really cheap if I want. Would the SR play well in my enclosure? It get's 100wrms from a Mosconi 2.200! :)

I think you can take the casing off. Tried turning it around and get off the clips?
I have three amps, two of them has dis. blocks for both power and ground,
the two ground cables from the amps are pretty 'long' compared to be ground
cables, and they're 8G - pretty thin. The...
Yeah, but what about SR5250 + the Tang Band W6-1139SI 6.5"?
That way you could still go threeway since these excellent woofers
can produce both midbass and sub-bass. Crossed around 80-100hz
would...
Yeah, the 'plan' was to run a three-way set up with these you know, but the money got in the way. :o
For me it's midbass > midrange, by far! :D But hey, the SR5250's has excellent punch...
I crossed mine at 80hz, and used 18db/octave, with sub at 63hz (36db/oct.), worked well!
Oh yes. Did you notice that they're a little "stiff" since they're not broken in?
...
Yeah they're great Mac, but like you said: The SR6500's has far more superior midbass. :D
Haha no, I don't think the X-overs need break in time. :p But what do you think about the midbass? Where do you cross them?
But they're pretty stiff yet, huh? I mean, they're not broken in? These have EXCELLENT bass...
Why not? :( You should look forward to it. ;)
I love the SR6500's! Much better midbass yes, but I had to pinch down 80hz and 125hz some - a lot of energy there.
Otherwise, I made them blend in very well with my sub too. With the woofers in...
Ahhhh... Finally:

No, this is just a myth - you can make a 24" play as fast as a 10", it's all about the amplifier and cables...
Oh yes, these Vifa's (actually it's "Peerless V-line"?) sounds just as good - maybe even better - than the SR's! :)
I tweaked for about an hour or so today, and I'm trying to get everything "correct"
- but yeah, I'd like to play loud in addition to having a good soundstage with gains set right. ;)
Yeah but 63hz works well in my car - as long as I use the slope 36db/octave.
The SR5250's midbass is cut off at 80hz with 18db/oct. and it works very well.
The main reason I did this is in order to...
Yeah okay, cool. But on what level was your stage? I would think it would be way low...
That is correct my friend. ;)
And this HU supports 4-way:

...but this costs 1675 (USD) in Norway....
Hey! Has anyone here tested the SR5250's as coax-speakers? :D
I've been thinking about differenent setups recently,
and I was gonna try the SR6500 midwoofer with a 2" Tang Band.
I've been...
^ Uhh, did you cover the outer wall of the door too? :o
Oh yes! Great ones. Congrats on the SR's and a good-lookin' amp from JL. Keep us updated, pictures are welcome...
Sounds good! Other good choices for front speakers? DLS is a good choice, I think.
But since you're at the Polk-forum, I think you should go for Polk speakers. It's good ya! :D
And arun, I know I...
Well yeah, I've already recommended the SR5250 - in addition to one good subwoofer,
you get a great setup IMO. Use amps on everything, one 4-channel and one mono block.
With active crossover...
That's why you need to Take The Time ! :D
