danz1906 had suggested bi-amping the 70's and I was referring to the woofers on the Monitor 70s...

I realize this was marketed as a multi-zone amp, but in design its a multi-channel. In fact the design makes it very versatile.

Then two channels to the center (130 watts) and using the H/k rears for the rear...

So, I bought one of these:

BB865 8-Channel Amplifier

This is what I'm thinking:

Left and right front bridged (4 channels) - 130 wpc
Center bridged (2 channels) - 130 wpc

That leaves 2...

H/K rocks! Where can you get it for that price? lol

Bought a refurb H/K 347 ($225) and love it! Has the pre-outs and sounds much more powerful than the rated 55WPC....
