I did end up going with the 110 to 220 V conversion through the Krell dealer. The funny thing is that they ordered the part from Orange, CT (Krell factory)...

Yup, I did end up spending the $200 and convert the Krell to 220V - it was worth it since it was through a Krell dealer and it sounds as good as it did sitting at my home in Connecticut :)

You bet!! I recently moved out of the US, so had to shell out $200 to convert the Krell voltage input from 110V / 60Hz to 220 V/ 50Hz. It was worth every penny :-)

Will have to upgrade to 802d's...

No, I actually sold all my US electronics before moving down to Singapore (except the ones which are dual voltage). I just didn't sell the Krell and hence the need for a single voltage transformer.

Also , I guess if I do go the 220-110V transofrmer route, a hi-end audio store in Singapore should be able to tell me what kinda transformer I should get right?
