Anyone having amp problems with Epik subs, especially Legends? I see some posts on the internet about amp rattling or failures, but how wide spread is this?
I'm pretty stoked  about picking up a pair of Epik Legends on Thursday to replace my current SVS PB12-Plus/2. I've been watching for a couple specific subs to come up for sale and...
pdfxj - great job!!! you mentioned that the back row riser was built to be a bass trap also. Can you explain what you did to the riser? Thanks
In with 11. Thanks Pepster !!!
So I see a lot of recommendations for bi/dipole speakers for the back surrounds along with bi/dipole for sides. I always thought the rears were better being direct firing with bi/dipoles on the...
I've been watching for a "non-break-the-bank" second sub for my set up. Similar to Snake1 in his recent post, however, I've got over 5000 cu ft room. The SVS PB12 Plus/2 does a good job, but...
Does anyone have experience with the Polk PSW1200 sub? It appears to be a short lived model in the Polk line up. It has dual 12" drivers, but only a 225w continuous amp powering both drivers. ...
Wish you were closer, I'd snatch up that SVS. Chicago is a long way to WA..... GLWS
Snake1 - thanks for the update on the Audessey setting. I still do not have that kind of bass response from my Rti12's even with the Rotel amp. Some day maybe I'll figure out why......settings,...
I bought my ticket months ago. Looking forward to this.
I really didn't get an increase of volume from adding the amp as much as a cleaner/punchier/higher quality sound. I like to run my side and back surrounds a bit hotter than the Pioneer MCACC sets...
Falconcry72 - keep us up to date with those Morrow IC's and speaker cables (probably in a separate thread). I too have an interest in how they compare. I have MA2 IC's and have been considering...
I have a RMB-1095 also with a 7.1 set up. The Rotel powers the front three speakers and one pair of side surrounds. I have a second pair of side surreounds and the back surrounds powered by the...
Rotel rmb-1095 is a great amp. I've had mine for about 1.5 yrs. It is a beast and will make any speakers sing. And $900 is a great price, especially with shipping. Somebody jump on this !!!!

"If you are thinking about Sony players, you should wait for the new models releasing next month."
Jon s - what are the new Sony's going to have that make it worthwhile to wait???
SDA 1c's mint/int. cable and orig. boxes - $700 (east/indy)

Isn't $700 for 1C's a bit on the high side, even if they are "mint" condition...
I have some Dynamat left over from a previous project and considering DM'ing the two speakers cages in my CsiA6. I will not be considering any cross over upgrades at this time.
* Will this be...
tonyb - my 320 load time is also very slow. Slow as molasses on a cold morning. New BR is not a high priority at the moment though, and still enjoying the 320 PQ & AQ.
My solution was to buy a new bdp-320 for real cheap on Ebay and kept the old one for parts if needed in the future. Still like the PQ & AQ of the 320. However, the next blueray player will be new...
10 jumping jacks, 20 push ups and a couple ab crunches
I went to see/audition the SDA 2.3TL's this afternoon. First off, although I knew these were big speakers, I really didn't realize just how big until I met them in person. The "antique" shop didn't...
So if you had a choice of the following SDA's, what order would you put them in for sound quality for mainly HT, but a growing percentage of 2 channel? Are the prices reasonable? All speakers are...
I bought mine for $900. I would start a bit lower and work your way up though...
Dekuda and I talked earlier this afternoon. I'm going to pass, so its open to the next in line.
Thanks again to Dave for your time today, sharing experience and recommendations!!!!!
