If I was u, I would go to the Avs forum ans see if anybody else has or had the same problem and see what was done.

There is a huge difference.
I ran the HDDVD kk through compnent on the XBOX
and ran the SDDVD kk through dvi on my 2910.

There is sharpness, more color and detail, there is no comparison.

The initial combo player will be cost prohibitive.
