I had this particular model for a while and it never ran hot, warm at most! I used it to power Lsi15's, Lsi9's and LsiC and it barely broke a sweat.

I purchased the 55ST30 a few weeks ago and had a problem with it 9 days after I bought it. Had the unit repaired and has been working fine since then. IMHO, I don't think the ST50 is worth $500 more....

I have spents soooo much time over on AVS that I have reached my saturation point!!! lol
My set had to be repaired yesterday because it shut off on friday and would not turn back on.
