I bought few adcoms amps from a guy locally for my polk HT system:

1x5500
1x5300
1x5200

1x545

Adcom 5500 sounds kinda harsh and not enjoyable at all while Adcom 545 sounds full and better...

How much you bought it for..if you dont mind telling me? I'm in market for something for my Lsi15s.

I'm @ cleveland/akron and I *might* be interested too. I already have lsi15 and svs and thinking if these would compliment as a 2nd system with bigger soundstage?

Csi40 is the BEST if you can find it anyhow.
Csi5 uses different tweeter and will not be a good match.
Csi30 is timber matched but no way near csi40. I have both and it is a BIG difference imho.

These should be pretty cheap now as they are discontinued long ago. I bought Rti100 for $175 each long ago. They are very good speakers. Rti150 only gets better but needs a decent amp to handle them.

HK AVR 325 might be good for your needs to use as pre and more. It has 7.1 amplified output and preouts. I have it and sounds pretty good to me for the price.

It might be a good idea to have an analog single wire connection ( 2ch ) to your HK even when you have an optical or coaxial digital connection to it.

Digital isnt always better. ;)

If price is same and you can afford ..get Lsi25 + a nice amp (if you havent got one already).
