thanks once again for all the input. as of now, the table (kenwood kd-2055) is grounded to the preamp (hafler dh-101) and it seems to be fine. hey fongolio--I took a trip to bc in '75 with...
thanks guys. I appreciate it.
can I ground my turntable to the preamp, or does it have to be grounded to the amp? thanks.
if you ever get back up here, give me a shout. I like it here too. anyway, thanks for the input, guys. completely forgot about search. I have a pair of rta 12B's and I love 'em to death.
i'm just curious as to why there are so few post's regarding the rta series of speakers here?
this has got to be synchronicity. I was just going to start a thread about him, and found this. in any event, he was just at the riverside in Milwaukee this past Saturday, and I couldn't afford to...
hey, gary. been awhile since I've been on the site. anyway, my plan at this point is a dynaco pas3 as a pre. waiting for the right one. (i.e. perfect and maybe modified) tubes in the pre (voltage...
thanks. it's driving a pair of polk rta 12b's, so it is a 4ohm load. no issues; I was just curious. the speakers are awesome in conjunction with the amp. using hafler dh-101 as a pre.
I have downloaded and printed the manual and done numerous online searches, and cannot find an answer to my question, so i'm hoping someone here can help. is the m-504 considered to be a...
happy new year to you, also. and to the rest of the "gang." i've learned at lot here in the past year-------.
thanks, zingo. i'm a happy camper right now! have a great holiday.
i just wanted to say "thankyou very much" for the info. i took the connects out of aux and put in tuner and it now works like a charm! therefore, i would assume there is in fact a problem with the...
thanks. i'll check it out.
here's an update on my problem with the dh-101. i picked up a kenwood c1, and everything works fine thru it. i then connected the hafler back up and started playing around. when i play cd's...
if someone will please let me know how to upload pics, i will tonight. thanks.
finally got 'er done!! yee hah! made all the difference in the world. put on "sade--promise" lp just now, and no feedback. boy is this sweet! my audio cabinet is a 7' high 3 1/2' wide 26" deep...
you bet---and right now i'm listening to the 50mph wind gusts; i think by god---------------------
thankyou. i will try that later today and get back to you guys. and thanks to all of you.
it would be very difficult due to the way it's set up, which i can't change. would it be possible somehow toadd some sort of extension to the spade connection from the table?
audio technica #at-105/stylus #207-d7.
there is a gound connection on the amp, (have amp, preamp, cd player, table) but because of the "logistics" of my set-up, the ground wire from the table is not long enough to reach the amp. ...
i have a kenwood kd-2000 table. when an lp is finished playing, there is a "hum" or "feedback" thru the tonearm and other parts of the table. ( i don't know any other way to explain this) is it...
