It's on eBay as a straight-up Buy It Now purchase, but I figured some here would be specifically interested as well. If this is wrong to do, I apologize to the mods.

I have a studio apt. that's around 16 x 24. the loudest I ever get is around -13 to -11 with zero being calibrated 'reference' level...and those levels are still pretty darn loud. Comfortable level...
I'd want my home theater design to be based on the Korova Milk Bar from A Clockwork Orange. :o

Shielded/balanced wire? Can't they use something like that?
And you could always set up a small video camera in the other room and watch the record player on the TV, no?
heh... :o
On my LSi9's, depending on the material, I either listen with full-range or with the xover set at 60hz. For movies, multi-ch SACD's, and more modern music with harder/deeper bass...60hz. For...
Why not just put the record player in another room that's quieter?
:o
Or 'upper-bass.'
Yeah...looks like the 9's have no HPF's on the mid-driver, the 25's have them at 80hz, and the 15's at 150Hz. Wow, I never realized they were so high for the 15s.
Hmm...I can kinda' see how in some applications or placements, there could be some sort of issue in the lower-mid-bass, especially with the side-mounting. At 150Hz, that means that the lower of the...
At what freq does the mid-bass drivers crossover to the 8" woofer in the 15's? I could see the 90-degree mounting of it being a possible issue.
Honestly....if they were to redesign the...
What is it about the crossover that folks feel could stand some improvement? Frequencies? My only thing with the LSi's is that I wish they could look more attractive with the grilles off.

Woofer enhancement?
Aside from that...I've got some SDA's......
What's also really important in amps is their filter capacitors, and how quickly they can refill and release the needed current (I believe). That's really what makes the difference in terms of bass...
When you think about it...the LSi15 is probably a speaker that is most reliant on substantial amp power/headroom...of ALL of Polk's speakers. 4 ohms, moderate sensitivity, and an unpowered 8" woofer...
My LSiC is actually .5 less than my mains (Lsi9) as calibrated, and dialogue is plenty clear and present. But I'm running a Denon AVR pre-out into a separate power amp.
Things also may be...
I'd say look for prices online, then compare to those on ebay if people are selling, and it should give you an idea.
The specs list that at 17 lbs, so it should be fine to mount on a simple shelf supported by the TV's wall-mount screws as discussed above. The only thing you need to be careful of is that the TV...
Sounds like a phase/wave issue. Depending on the shape of your room, different pairs/sets of speakers that are each calibrated evenly will cause wave buildups or phase cancellations at different...
What model center speaker, and how heavy is it?
I used a basic standard plasma wall mount to attach to the wood frame. You have to do some pretty precise measurements to know how high the TV will sit when attached...at least I had to because I...
It's actually a combined TV mount/center mount that I built out of 2x4's and bolted down to that Salamander shelf. It ends up being two posts extending up behind the TV, and two 8" steel L-brackets...
