One last bump before I put it on ebay.
haha good idea! I've done the same with my Pany Plasma TV Stand for my LSIM center speaker! Added the sticky rubber feet to the stand so I don't damage the speaker and its holding strong up on top...
Gota remember guys.. this is the interenet and some things may be read wrong and come off the wrong way. Its not like having a conversation with someone face to face when you can tell from...
Oh and my new LSiMs came from Polk Direct! No problems! All like brand new as if I was the first person to open up the boxes and they all were supposivly refurbished. I and many others think there...
Forgot to add that I've had those Rti speakers for 10 years without issue. Still plan to use them downstairs whenever we get a new house.

Heres another response I got..
? I guess they are sending me something else.
Heres the response I just got from them in email..
I think i'll try a sample on a older Rti speaker and see what happends first.
Thanks Sk88!
Just shot off an email to ask them about it.
Will let everyone know if it is safe to use.
Would be no problem selling a Emotiva amp as they retain there value cause of there transferable 5 year warranty. Sell it and buy something else if your looking for something different.
Yes totally forget about bi-amping. No point wont matter forgetaboutit.
Get a 200 watt+ amp for them and some decent speaker wire.
Lots of people like this option.....
That's like the best speech I've like ever read on the internet! I've been around since the beginning of the internet.
Very damn true well put!
705s!
Checkout Polks ebay store for cheaper prices.. could maybe get a better deal if you email them about it.

For home theater i'd say go for it. 5 year warranty and 30 day trial with no hassel returns. XPR-5/XPA-5 would be a no brainer. Cheap to boot!
Whatever the amp is is what you'll get.. yes if you want 200 watts you'll need a 200watt per channel amplifier. That's 200 watts for 8 ohms as your speakers are 8 ohms.
Basicly a Emotiva XPA-2 is...
Damn those towers look awesome! Nice dark cherry shade of cherry there better then I hoped for when I thought about ordering them! Sure makes a bigger statement in that setup over just some bookshelf...
