You're definitely looking for a MacPro. I've used a Macbook Pro with a Thunderbolt display and still had the graphics issues that you're describing.

...and you're still clueless about what a Polkie is.
To the OP: Congrats on the Rainmakers! They are amazing speakers. I hated to give mine up, but I've moved on. One day I'll move back into the...
I built my vortexbox from an old Dell Optiplex 745 and I love it. It rips and tags my music automatically. The caveat is that you must configure the process manually if you don't like the default way...
A pair of Norman Lab 432s circa 1990 are what I'm currently enjoying. I've refoamed the bottom 10" woofer in each speaker and have installed replacement woofers for the upper 10" until I get the...
Wireless streaming is very good as long as you don't use Pioneer's AS-WL300 add on. I'm using a Netgear WNCE2001 and it performs flawlessly.
The SC-1222-K is not an Elite model.
I'm a firm believer in "If you don't like it, don't watch it." That's why there are 3000 other channels online and on tv. I'm sure someone is watching a paint dry channel somewhere.
I picked one up a few months ago for $500 at New Egg. It's been impressive compared to the Marantz SR5003 and H/K receivers that I have owned for a few years. It's a very clean sound. Not warm, but...

The best thing about the game is that Ray Lewis is retired. No more "dance".
Unfortunately the convict mentality he has will carry on with a lot more NFL players.
I review logs every day. Server and network logs that is. If math was involved I'd be screwed. Like I keep telling my wife, "There are no letters in math!"
I thought I'd start a new thread to try and get this thing sold. There's nothing wrong with it, but information is very hard to find on it. I was skeptical, but since it's an Arcam I gave it a chance...
That's not a horrible price. I just hope you get good personnel on the shipping side. With them being over 100lbs each they may get bounced a bit.
Unfortunately I'm po! If my preamp had sold I'd be close though.
Of course they come up when I don't have the funds...and they're local.

Manual sent.
Another deal where I don't have the funds...and it's freakin' local.
The seller states "SDA 3.2TL", but I thought they were a pair 3.1TL. http://littlerock.craigslist.org/ele/3573123180.html
I had the same problem before I bought it. I contacted Arcam support and they emailed a copy of the owner's manual in pdf format to me. I can send it to you if you like. Is your username your email...
The amp is sold.
I recently picked up a SC-1222-K from NewEgg and have been very impressed by it. I ran it for a short while with a pair of Totem Rainmakers, which are also 4 ohm speakers, and it had no troubles....
Wow! The pre and amp are still here. Make an offer. Also, I'm looking for a pair of Monitor 7s or LSi 7/9s.
There's not shame in my game. I've enjoyed the Arcam Alpha 9 preamp that I have in the FM for several years. I don't think you'll find anything as smooth in a pre unless you go tubes.
I have an Arcam Alpha 9 pre for sale. It has a remote, and it's in the FM: http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?140092-2-Channel-System-Arcam-Parasound-and-Totem. I'd go $275 shipped.
Weekend bump...
