good choice with the plasma, for the same price/size its no question in my opinion..

I have used alpine type Rs with good luck in a sealed enclosure (can be had for cheap). Honestly one 10 or 12 in a car if it is powered right can be more than enough for anything but spl IMO

What do you want the iPod for? An apple TV might be a cheaper option if you have a computer with iTunes in the house...(if you just want it at home)
