Just looking for some thoughts on how to isolate this issue...
Recently i noticed the sound from my center is less clear and quiter. I noticed during passages that are heavier in lower...
Definitely worth doing. The bass is a lot tighter! The mod is cheap and easy to do so it is a no brainer. Sounds EVEN better after upgrading the crossovers :)
It is definitely refreshing to see some companies still make C.S. a paramount concern. Polk is good S*!T. :)
Pretty cool how fast a resolution was provided.
I have been looking to score another pair of PNF Audio Icon IC's to match the other pair I have running from my CDP to my Pre. I have a few other sets of IC's (AQ, Tara Labs, SC Analogue II's) if...
A good friend of mine has this deck in his truck. He loves it and it sounds great. He also has a tube amp feeding the fronts and rears in his setup. The whole setup sounds great. He has had the...
I upgraded from a modded Denon 5 disc to a used Rega Apollo and could not be happier. Better bass response, clarity, transient response and tone. They can be had for around $500...
Wolfmother- Cosmic Egg. Goes great with a Stella.
No harm in hooking it up and seeing how it sounds. Since your current living situation doesnt allow for your 5.1 setup, maybe just wait till it does and save to by the latest and greatest at that...
Damn! A steal of a deal. I bought one a few months ago (Grad gift) for $500 and it was worth every penny. Great sounding player, nice and smooth. Enjoy! :)
I have a .5m pair of S.C. Analogue II's. Bought them 6 months ago and had them hooked up for a week, then into the drawer they went (ended up being a little short).
for most of the 100uf caps they are in parallel with 0.12uf. Should I use a different type of cap for the smaller values, or lyrics all the way??
Thanks for the input so far.
Hoping some of you fequent modders can chime in here. I will be re-capping my B&K ref200.2 soon. What is a good brand/series of capacitors to replace the current electrolytics? Should I use...
I am just suprised FOX hasn't picked this up yet...
"You can't polish a turd"...

"Cream always rises to the top, but turds often float"
Ignore this
I am very happy running my 15's with a B&K Ref 200.2 amp.
What a nice way to welcome a newcomer pepster. You the man!
I used to use a slightly modded denon 5 disc changer which sounded quite good.
I would try to pick up a mid-grade video card, they typically use ddr4 or DDR5 ram which runs at higher speed than the other ram you would be running. You should be able to pick up a decent one...
Yeah, that sure looks slick, great potential.
I would be interested in hearing more details about your re-capping and your thoughts on the result. My B&K may need re-capping soon.
Thanks,
Jer.
Agreed, thought it never hurts to try something new, but after a few swaps I still keep coming back to my PNFs. Those anti
cables do look cute though
Hello all,
I am hoping some of the more tech savy members can maybe help me shed some light on an issue with my B&K Ref 200.2 power amplifier. For the last little while I have noticed that when...
What would you want for the pair, though it may be outside what I wanted to spend one some jumpers....
