How much are this amps? Been wanting to get an amp emotiva or parasound.

I have my monitor70's "bi-amped" to a rx v671, tried it both bi-amp and not bi-amp no difference at all. You will notice a huge difference with an external amp.

How about some mordaunt speakers, might cost a little more but i've read they are musical speakers.

Why didn't you like the v6.2? I was thinking of getting those or the bookshelfs.

Can the polk lsiM series compete with higher end brands like B&w KEF or monitor audio etc. at the same price level? Like the lisM 705 ($1500 I think) vs. KEF Q700?

Well if it has pre-outs emotiva amps are really affordable compared to others. An xpa-3 could drive your fronts and your receiver your surrounds. I have a similiar set up like yours I'm debating...

I used to had those rca cheap speaker cables and once I made the switch I notice a big differece in my system. So to my ears speaker cables does make a big difference. Had both emotiva and MIT....

Yamaha aventage are really with pre outs if you're planning to add an amp down the road.
