The Iridium line was replaced by the new Gothia's ($575 for a set). DLS America claims they are better sounding than the Iridium (naturally). Too soon to tell. Have to see if the Gothia's show up...

What do you think of the DLS Iridiums?

Are they replacing the SR line with something else?

Hybrid seems to be winning a LOT the last few years. Can't be all tuning especially when one brand wins more than the others....combined.

How is the sound from the 5250 compared to the 6500?

To the OP. Check the output on your alt. if it's 120 amp it can be rewound to 140 easily enough.

Also look at performing Big 3 wiring upgrade before you decide on a cap.

Why do you want to put all the subs in a common box compared to individual boxes?

I have on old Soundsteam Grainte 180.6 (6 channel with built in xover)
