Should I trade in my older RTIs?

I purchased my CSI40 and pairs of RTI38s and RTI28s last July. I've seen that CC is clearancing their RTIs out.

Should I try and upgrade to the CSI5, RTI6 and RTI4? Is there much of a difference...

I think that the 38's on 36" stands is going to be way too top heavy! Even if they don't fall off the stands, if someone bumps them, the speaker + stand will come crashing to the floor.

Air is a fluid; as is water.

The difference in them being that air is a gas and water is a liquid.

It is perfectly correct to call it a fluid-coupling.

I use RTi28's for surrounds and 38's for mains.

Why use big bookshelves for surrounds when the smaller 28's will suffice?

    I vote RTi28.

May I ask where you are ordering from? I was looking at the metal stands from the same company for my 38's but I didn't like the small plate.

Where can you get a larger plate from?

I got in on the deals at Circuit city and bought a CSI40 (last one in the store), a pair of RTi38's and a pair of RTi28's. Now all I need is my basement done and my Harman Kardon AVR-325 to get here!
