I have a linear tracking Revox B790 with a Shure V15 IV cartridge. There is no inner groove distortion at all with my setup. If there is groove distortion, it is the whole album, damaged grooves.

I have been listening to mine. The early tracks are on par with the SACD's. The later tracks are louder and not as good sounding to me. Still a great buy for the $'s!

I just got an Oppo BDP-95 and I can say that it is better than the 2910, but not by a whole lot. I could easily live with just the 2910. The only drawback of the 2910 is that it won't support blu-ray.

I don't know. I have never heard any of the newer Denon's. On thing you have to watch out for with the later Denons is that they do not support SACD.

Denon Dvd-2910. Can be had for about $100.00 shipped. Was $750.00 when new. I have 3 and they all sound great.

I have tried a couple of those cheap stylus. You get what you pay for. They sounded bad.
