Close to correct Kaos but it's volt*amps=watts
Exactly Arun
But let's take an extreme worse case scenario as an example. Let's assume both amps are class A and not class A/B and have an...

It's a very old review that was brought back up for the Top 10 component list for the last 10 years.
SR6500 on e bay today

8 hours left to bid and $350.00 starting bid. 1 scratch on cone and used...
Comparing the 2 i bought directly from Polk Audio.
Pic 1 i have no scratches on the cone
Pic 2 magnet is very soft and easily scratches. Yours looks like someone tried engraving vs random...
I checked parts express before and saw a few grilles, Dayton, Peavy. The depth did not look deep enough. But basically i want those styles. Full coverage.
I'm still looking for grilles as well for my SR124's. If you find something let me know.
Ordered yesterday from Crutchfield and UPS picked it up less than 2 hours later. :)
Been using them for almost 25 years. Not the cheapest. But customer service, technical support, etc is worth the...

It's 1.57+0.14=1.71 however i don't suggest building it this size. I'm shooting for a bit more output at lower frequencies and i mean 16hz and below. Organ pedal notes can hit that low. Some...
Guess i can't add well today. Make that 20oz of fiber fill for a 1.25cu ft box. Adding more won't hurt it. It just doesn't help either.
Vital you are comparing what the manufactures suggested box sizes are without actually running the numbers. Most all list the smallest size possible. None of which is optimal. Like my JLAudio sub i...
That's free space internal. You must add the sub to your dimension. So if you want 1.20cu ft. the internal volume needs to be 1.34cu ft as the sub takes up 0.14cu ft. And Vital you can trick the sub...
I still have zero time. So hard to get anything done when i'm not home.
I've yet to install anything. And now my alarm is acting up and Dodge wants me to leave it with them for 2 days. I can't...
A/D/S power plate amp it looks like. He's got the right idea there for mounting.
vas close to 0.5cu ft would be my guess just by comparing other 6 1/2" drivers. Best i can do dude.
I'm a member of smd as well Monkey. Wasn't meant as a bashing. Some of those guys are really...
I'm picturing a disco inferno school bus with a psychedelic paint job. Pass it around dude.
Might get better results at the smd forums. You'd fit right in.
I'm with the OP on this one. Have been for 30 years now. No highs and even worse no lows. Absolute junk imo.
Not sure which box you're talking about. But comparing a DB12 in a vented enclosure at 1.5cu ft with 360w rms vs an SR124 in a 1.5cu ft sealed box with 700w rms. I'll compare them but i don't know...
For sealed i'm betting Polk lists it at 0.65cu ft. It more closely matches the power handling and cone excursion. I'd probably use 0.75cu ft sealed personally for this particular sub.
-EDIT- Oh...
You mean you're thinking that your watch will be a knockoff of a knockoff? lol very funny.

Scroll down on that link as it covers quite a few instruments. Also a few tweaking tips. Least it's a start. Source: The Mixing Engineers Handbook.
You are correct and the PG bridged mono should be 350 watts rms based on their current model numbering anyways. Assuming old model numbers were similar the Polk amp should be hitting harder then the...
SR124-DVC for sound quality i say.
Talking watts here, not sound quality. An unregulated amp would look like this with 80% efficiency.
14.4vX70aX.8=806watts
Same amp with a voltage drop to amp to 12.5 volts.

Wire is not wire. And crap does equal crap.
If the price is to good to be true then you're getting ripped. It could be built using copper clad aluminum. Use of extra thick insulation so they can...
