I agree, but I feel its worth it. I am constantly adjusting settings to find that perfect mix. But half of the fun is trying to get the best sound out of your stereo. :D
Doing a DIY active front stage will usually produce superior results and can be done for less money. I am also using the PRS-880, great unit for a high end SQ install.
I believe Sundown was mentioned before, great choice. ZED Audio, Zapco, and older Phoenix Gold are always at the top of my list.
That must be why their prices are so outrageous.
If you are hell bent on a quality 10" sub woofer, there are number of quality subs that will blend well with the front stage and do not need loads...

I have to disagree with you. I speak to Stephen on a weekly basis, and they are still producing amplifiers. But at the moment they are out of the Draconia, and cannot do another build run until...

I remember a guy on SoundDomain talking about the motor structure of the big SoundStream subs was not the best, and that PowerAcoustic (new parent) did not want to carry such an expensive driver,...
