Some of the guys here swear by Adcoms, notably the GFA-555/II. They seem to be a pretty decent budget amp that runs a common ground design.

Again, I'm a mega "bang for the buck-er" so I've never gotten around to replacing any of my SL2000 tweeters. I do prefer the SL3000 tweeters on the few speakers I have that use them.
