The Karma has ended:
Starkiller - send me your address please!
That is true, however my point is that there is no longer a stereo amp after bridging. Whether housed in a single chassis or multiple they are mono. Therefore they are not "completely different" -...
I just can't help it - might be genetic...
Once bridged aren't the "stereo" amps mono?
From the manual:
"This switch "bridges" the two power amplifier channels to form a monophonic...
Another benefit of the bridging might be better imaging. This is just a guess based on my experience with my "dual mono" amp. I can definitely hear a difference when the signals go through the same...
No matter how I try to pick this up I can't find a clean end!
After reading the very few pages of the document provided I didn't have any issues figuring out how it would work. I do...
Really...
It will either not allow power to the speakers as it may see it as too small a load - in that case it won't hurt anything. Or it will go into thermal overload if you play it...
Good grief H9 - take 5 minutes and browse to the link he sent. Or do I have to read it to you..??
The user guide CLEARY STATES and the diagram of the back of the unit CLEARY SHOWS that you can...
Your prices just doubled...

If you're going to have children (some plan - some don't - same result!) you must make a decision on how you will raise them. I have three 17 year olds graduating from high school this year. My...
My baby amp blew a couple months ago and has been officially retired Over the time it worked I collected a few pairs of ECC85 tubes. These all work - I have no idea how much life there is left in...
When I first got the HD650's I liked them - but really didn't listen to them much. They were "o.k.".
With these cables I don't listen much to the main system!
Its'a nice'a improvement!...

Oh...now I get it.
It's not the amp (select your favorite brand name) that has quality watts. The amperage has quality watts!
So that's how it "works"...!!
Great...user defined.
So as long as my ears "work" I have quality watts.
Stereopile magazine must use these...
Somebody define "quality watts" please. I'm having difficulty getting a grip on that phrase.
As defined - everywhere:
One watt is the rate at which work is done when one ampere (A) of current...
No...but darn it...my watts are cleaner than yours. I can't prove it, I've never heard your system nor have I ever heard any of the components in your system but...mine are bigger, better, faster,...
This one wins...hands down. The rest of you just piss and moan on!
I see no reason to debate this further - you either like a sub with your system or you don't. I sincerely doubt...
Update: Couldn't take it - too much noise from the techflex. I pulled all the heatshrink and techflex off of the can end. Stripped back another 6" or so of cable. Put in a cable pant and minimal...
I was considering cooling the cable with liquid nitrogen to help make the cable slippery. I figured less resistance but then I thought about it and realized it would only be worse with the ice...
I've got some of those - the cute "Jelly" ends only came with the short cords. I think anything over 3' had solid ends. Not that it matters...or does it!?
They are a good quality...
Da pics...
I have a hook above the amp to hold the cable straight up. I didn't like the way it looked without that - kinda kinked over.

Just don't like the way this ended - I'd like to...
I’ve read too many posts, here and on other forums, about the Sennheiser HD650 stock cable being less than it should be. So I decided to build my own. (Sorry, no pictures – maybe next time!)
I...
