i thought this is called passive biamping but I guess that applies to speakers, not amps... i think having 2 sets of posts is for easier biwiring as DaveHo said...
Anyways, nice amp, GLWTS
my bad... free bump...
Nice speakers... no pricing on the Klipsch?
paypal sent...
sent pm...
Sounds like the Parasound should be a perfect match. You should get the bass while taming the high end as well... Congrats on the purchase.
I have the slightly lower powered hca-1500a (other than the watts, the specs, damping factor etc are quite similar to this unit) and I do have an adcom too (gfa 5400). From what I hear, its all about...
Maingey, I'm local to you... north jersey... would also be interested in the Thiel pricing...
shipped. enjoy the wires... the most neutral and precise sound (absolutely no coloration whatsoever) that you can get with budget wires...
I do have a 6ft pair that I boxed up for sale.spades on all ends.. PM me if interested..
the hsu forum has a thread on great bass tracks to work out the sub. Same with svs that highlights both music and movies that give a heck of a workout... For a different vibe, Saint Saens (classical)...
well there are two things that can "blow". One the amplifier and the second the voicecoil/driver... I had the problem that all of a sudden when I was listening to music, the sub made a whining noise...
how about some pics on the preamp?
30$ final call... or its back to the closet...
Thanks. I might just keep these as I do have some warm speakers and the neutrality that you get from these keeps the "warmth" just right without loating it further.
I'll keep it here for a few...
30$ shipped before it goes to 'gon
35$ shipped... local pickup welcome in nj. would be 30$.
LOL.. yes they do sound better than they look. If you've had solid core speaker wire before you'd realize they're quite hard to bend and the best tweak is to actually create a twisted pair. I did...
Up for sale is a 5ft stereo pair of anticables. If you havent heard these before, they are solid6130261303 core wire 12awg and are extremely neutral. Lots of positive reviews, absolute sounds best...
minor thread derail but would you mind mentioning what were the other dacs you compared.
Not trying to derail here but this 3% has been covered in another thread. if you use your debit card as a funding source, no one pays 3%. Also for those folks who didnt "abuse" the paypal as a gift...
you're letting go of some quality gear along with your parasound... I have the MA700's little brother the MA500 powering my center. Another bulletproof amp. somebody snatch this up quick...
I have this for my fronts and its an awesome amp... quality 205 wpc... damping factor over 800...easily 4ohm stable... good price too...
Falcon, yes, I did see the website for the v-dac2... looks nice. I dont see a price yet though... probably dont have the budget to buy both a usb dac/transport and a non usb dac. I'd prefer an all in...
