Some receivers allow for independent zone 2 operation utilizing the two surround back channels. Does yours? Should be in the manual.

Did you try resetting the processor? Would try that first...everynow and then my 635 has a hiccup and a processor reset fixes it. Write down your settings first, as you will lose them upon a reset.

I think any format would be fine as long as it is lossless. Can always convert format.

Oh, and we could even have a separate folder for SACD and HDCD...
