More details on your install please. Using a distro block, wiring, etc.

I have two 8" Image Dynamics subs, check them out, they're competition-level SQ subs.

Actually, I remembered I had another new MTX amp, MXA3002 2-channel amp. It's 75x2 @ 4ohms. Looks like my solution, then I can pull the Thunder 684 and put it in my son's stang running the Momos. ...

The crossovers aren't that big, your cabin is as big if not bigger than my Explorer Sport Trac and I have the MMC5250s. The crossovers are only like a 4 inch x6 inch with probably 1.5 inch height. ...

Nice indeed, I went with the Eclipse CD8445 which looks almost identical to yours and has the 8v preouts. Agree the hu is awesome, great sounding unit, tons of features.

Got 'em installed and they sound great! :) Still need to fine tune, but so far with simple adjustments these sound very nice :)

Installing them today and I noticed the Polk wires for the speakers aren't very beefy ... not sure size, prob either 16 or 18 gauge ... should I change them for 12/14 gauge? Need to go out and check...
