I was wondering the same thing. The RTi150 is truly a thing of beauty (IMHO), but it does take some juice run them safely.

I second Emlyn's recommendation for the Rotel RMB-1075. I'm using one to drive a pair of RTi150s in a bi-amp configuration.

Definitely. Besides, i don't think those in-store tube testers did much other than check the continuity of the filaments. Gee..listen to me. I sound like i know what i'm talking about. ;)

The RMB-1075 is a fine amplifier. I'm using one myself. If you're keeping it below $700, i'd recommend either the RTi8 @ $700 or the RTi70 @ $600. Those are Crutchfield's prices.
