It's dark blue, but pink sound fabulous too. (;
Found it on Ebay. It was about $37 with the shipping. I don't know if that's a good price or not but it looked good at the time.
I bought 100 feet of 10 gauge Hugfen Audio speaker wire. I think it's meant for car audio. I want to use it for home audio (Rt3000's etc.). Is there a difference in car and home audio speaker...
Do you still have my email address?

and he shall appear. Glad to see you're still alive and well!!!
I can see it now. Kitty is going to return (or maybe your next cat), smell your speaker stands and start using them as a toilet because she/he will associate the smell with a litter box. Then...
Good memory Troy. Found the remote inside the speaker. Actually I'm trying my hand at speaker building and was just curious so I thought I'd take a look. Is New Jersey George still wanderinf...
I opened my RT55's to check the "guts" out and found that there is very little dampening material. Would I hurt the sound by adding more stuffing? What effect would it have. How about stuffing...
What are you looking to get for them? Darrin
He's right on. Damage to your ears can occur well below 120 dBs.
not really
Okay everyone. Let's stay focused here. The REAL issue is whether or not anyone is selling a pair. Anybody? Anybody? Bueller? Anybody?
I want to use them as back speakers to go along with my RT5000 setup. I'm going to mount them on the wall, not on stands, which might be tough since they don't come with any mounting brackets. ...
Hi.
Give me an offer if your looking to sell a pair. They need to be in perfect condition. Thanks, Darrin
I hate it when that happens
and I would of got away with it too if it weren't for those medeling kids.
Well, see you in court.

Since neither of us is in any rush I'm going to wait a while and see how things are at the end of the year. $1500 is a good price however.

Where in NY are you living? I'm in the Rochester area. Why are you interested in selling them? Are they rosewood or black? Perfect condition? Did you tweak them at all (cross overs etc.)? Age? ...
Could you toss them around for a while? Maybe throw them down the stairs? What's your offer?
George has bigger fish to fry these days. Priorities Polkies. Priorities.
Actually the 3000's subwoofer is rated down to 18Hz. Also in a review by Home Theater magazine they measured the 3000's sub against Polk's PSW1200 and the 3000's played lower, but not nearly as loud.
I was thinking a Velodyne or a Sunfire, but this is all hypothetical right now. I'd probably give the knod to the 55's with one of these subs. I love powerful/tight bass.
Nothing too exciting here but I was curious about this. What would sound better. The RT3000p's (sub/sat) vs. RT55 (not the i series) matched with a $1500 subwoofer.
1) RT3000's
2) RT55's with...
