Alright ill try that and see if it helps. Thanks
I've tried that but couldn't figure it out. One the Polk site there is a customer review in which a customer says that his sub made a weird "rattle" noise which turned out to be the wires leading...
Ok, but its weird because at first i only bought one SR and i got my second one a month later and they both have the same issue. Could it be the enclosure?
Hey, I've had my 2 Polk Sr124 Dvc's for about 5-6 months now and ever since the beginning there has been a weird rattle noise that you hear every time it hits. Its not only one but both subs do it....

Its in a 04 Nissan Maxima.
Yes I did order the Kenwood but I was just wondering what you would consider better...I'm just looking for good bass as well as nice SQ as well which I know the SR's are def capable of. As of now I...
Oo okk I see where ur getting at....overall what amp would u recommend tho...the Kenwood X1200M or the Polk Audio PA1200.1?
Alright I understand what your getting at but im going to be wiring the 2 subs as a combined 1ohm load so shouldnt the amp put out atleast 600 watts to each sub?
I recently just ordered the Kenwood X1200M...its 1200watts at 2 ohm, 800 watts at 4ohm and 1 ohm stable...I have 2 Polk SR124DVC's and im going to wire them into a 1 ohm load... Is this amp a good...
Alright thanx
oo alright...so thats the 2 SR's wired at 2 ohms each and plugged in its own set of inputs, 1 set for each sub, combining in a 1ohm load.
Thats what I thought...but it tells you to be cautious about any load less than 2ohm and since this is 1ohm, im not sure. The amp is definitely 1ohm stable, but just not sure whether to wire each sub...
Hey i recently wired my 2 SR's into a 1ohm load, and plan on hooking it up to the PA1200.1. Just wondering since the PA1200.1 has four speaker inputs (+ + - -), which inputs would I wire it in ? Does...
Ok thanks... it would be a 1ohm load.
What load would it be If i take my 2 Polk SR124dvc's set them both each to 2ohm settings and then connect the two positives and two negatives from each sub together into the amp...what would that...
I'm not sure...it doesn't say it on any of the sites.
Yea thas what I figured....soo thas shud be the issue right??
I have the 2xPolk SR124dvc + 08 Kicker zx1000.1 amp. ive had it for a while now and for some reason i'm not feeling the bass i should be gettin out of it. My friend has the same setup and his sounds...
