Question Thinking of selling my FXi4's

With the type of places i've been living lately (renting...ick), I have never had the type of room that really caters to the FX series.

They're made to be put in a corner so that the sound can bounce off the back and side walls (if I understand them correctly). My current room is a 13ft wide 24ft long beast, which means one FX speaker has 1/2 of it pointing into nothingness.

Now, i'm not sure how much sound i'm really losing from this setup but I do know that I want to try to tailor my speakers to my room layout. Does anyone have suggestions on other back speakers that would fit in well with my current setup?

Or am I looking too hard into this and those FX are doing fine?

Edit - didn't realize this was my 1,000th post! OMG I'M SO AWESOME NOW!

    Here's a ****ty pic.

I already posted the pic in that thread, so can't put it in here. If you look at the pic, the FXi4 on the right has a wall about 4ft to the right, while the one on the left has nothing next to it besides open room.

That's exactly how I had mine. I think it's your best option because your couch is up against the back wall. With that setup the speakers are facing toward the listener rather than if you had bookshelf speakers it would be facing the front.

I gotta admit it didn't sound bad at all when watching Avatar last night, but I did feel like I was losing some surround sounds (branches falling, bullets/arrows flying left to right, etc). That could just be me trying to compare my setup to what I heard at the theaters.
